Frequently asked questions

Got questions? We've got answers! Here you'll find information about submitting your designs to Koo Koo Nest Designs. If you still need help, feel free to contact us!

How can i submit my designs? Submit your seamless designs to kookoonestfiles@gmail.com. Make sure to leave us notes and instructions in your email when you place your order.

Can you add a background color to my PNG or SVG to print a fabric panel? Absolutely, we will add a color that coordinates with the design, just leave a note with your preference of color.

Do you print of cotton? No, unfortunately the inks in the sublimation do not adhere to natural fibers. Thats why we have to print on polyester or polyester blend fabrics.

What fabric bases do you print on? DBP Spandex 220 is our most popular. We hope to add other fabric bases soon.

What size are the panels? The fabric on the Child size is approximately 15"x20 height. Adult/big kid panel are 29"x36" height. The main image on the panel ranges around 7-10" wide across the panel. I designed the rapport panel which is also a Adult/Big Kid panel so that you can use it hopefully from toddler size all the way up to small adult sizes.

What is a fat half? A fat half is cut down the middle of the width of the fabric. So that there is more useable area to sew bigger projects. So instead of having a half yard piece that is 59"x 18", you with have a fat half which measures 29"x 36"

What is a rapport? A rapport is an adult/big kid panel on one side and a fat half of coordinate of the other. Giving you a yard worth of fabric total.

Can you add a design to a shirt for me to order? Yes, we also own a DTF printer so we can also print t-shirts for you as well.

Can you design a fabric for me? Yes, when we have time we can possibly help you with your needs.

How long does it take to receive my order? We try to keep our TAT time from the time you order until the time it's printed to 3 business days. This does change however around holidays or sales/promotions we may run.

Information

We pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service. We use a sublimation procedure to print the designs onto fabric. While we do our best to get the print perfect, sublimation does have small imperfections occasionally. When you place an order you understand that this may be the case. Explore what we have to offer and how we can contribute to your home or small business. If multiple yards are ordered they are cut into separate yards (noncontinuous) Thank you
